Winterstyling For Men
There are numerous magazines and brochures advising women on how to look their best. However, in this article, we would like to help men best highlight their type using current styling tips for three different personality types.
The athletic type
Short hair, lightweight clothing in bright colours – you are an athletic type. For you, freedom of movement is a top priority. Therefore, you should select functional clothing like snowboarder jackets and modern, breathable textiles. Colours are “in” again, so textiles with somewhat bright colours or patterns are acceptable. Also, a few, but noticeable accessories are called for here. A flat cap will keep your head warm in cold weather. And sporty, lace-up boots that stay waterproof in snow and rain, so you can wear them through any terrain. Those who hit the surf in southern Europe in the winter should equip themselves with a surfer watch. You can style your short hair with a bit of styling gel. A fresh fragrance of a cooling shower gel and a gentle aftershave are perfect for the athletic type in both summer and winter.
The elegant type
In winter, the coat makes the gentleman. It keeps you warm on the outside while under it you can be confident in making a light understatement during museum visits or an evening of clubbing. With a long wool coat, you will give even George Clooney a run for the money when it comes to style. Or why not try a fashionable trench coat for a modern and stylish look? Basically, you feel most at home in a dark grey or in brown tones. But a black shirt combined with a dark retro tie does not fail to have the desired effect. Planning to travel? Then don’t forget about the classic weekender, the small travel bag for hand luggage, naturally carried wearing leather gloves. The perfect gentleman is also obviously always clean-shaven. A moisturising shaving gel will keep your skin fresh and relaxed.
Chic and full of surprises
Those who talk about “chic” this year are referring to Bohemian chic. The style represents an individual and unconventional taste. Combine the various elements, such as designer sports shoes, with a classic English jacket. You can even wear loose knitwear again, best combined with precisely tailored trousers. A waistcoat is also an ideal addition to the Bohemian chic mix. Put your mp3 player in one waistcoat pocket and your grandfather’s pocket watch in the other. You can also let your hair and facial hair grow a bit longer. And, if needed, a wool cap protects against wind and weather. Between the beach bar and after-ski hours, a nice toning skin cream ensures a well-cared-for complexion.
