Introducing different types of deodorant
Different types of deodorant and you
For example, we have specially formulated a deodorant for sensitive skin, a deodorant for exercise or deodorants for lasting care for the day. This is why it is important to know what you wish to use your deodorant for when you buy them. Although each deodorant will work across categories, they may not be as effective as their designed purpose.
Roll-on deodorants, also called liquid deodorants, apply to your skin wet before drying on the underarms themselves. Their soft formula makes them ideal for people with dry or sensitive skin. Again, for people who have particularly dry or sensitive skin, you can use NIVEA's Sensitive Roll-on.
Deodorant sticks are another go-to solution for women.
Meanwhile, deodorant sprays are the perfect solution for the morning or for on the go. They do not start wet and dry on the skin, like roll-ons, so are quicker to apply. They are small enough to fit comfortably in your handbag for a quick burst of freshness wherever you are.

What is the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant?
Antiperspirants are formulated to stop you sweating and prevent moisture or wet patches. Antiperspirants are also effective as a deodorant. This is because bacteria growth is inhibited due to a lower pH and reduced wetness.
