I have used this product for 30 years so would consider myself a very loyal customer. Sadly, never have completely changed the formula. The texture of the gel has changed. It is now sticky and does not spread properly. There is a very strong aloe vera smell and the product makes my skin sting. I don’t understand why Nivea has messed with such a successful product. After 30 years, I’m switching brands.
New version is not good. It doesn’t even clean your face. And as for the floating bits in it, they don’t exfoliate, they just get stuck in your eyes or hairline. Won’t bother buying again. Used previous version for 10 years plus.
The new formula is both less effective for spots and causes an unpleasant stinging sensation every time I use it. I was using this face wash for years with no issues before the formula changed but now I will be searching for a new face wash. Disappointing that the formula was changed when there was no need. It would be great if the old formula could be brought back.
