Our Approach to Plastic Packaging

We're constantly working to improve our packaging. Our focus is on reducing the use of fossil-based virgin plastic, increasing the use of recycled material, and improving the recyclability and reusability of our packaging where possible.

Explore what we've achieved so far and what we're aiming to do to help prevent further plastic pollution.

Our Sustainable Paper Packaging

In selected packaging applications, we use paper- and cardboard-based materials to reduce the use of plastic. Where applicable, these materials come from responsibly managed sources that are certified according to recognised standards such as FSC®.

Recycled Aluminium at NIVEA

Aluminium is used in a range of NIVEA packaging applications, including the iconic NIVEA Creme tin. Discover how we're increasing the use of recycled aluminium in selected packaging and why this material plays an important role in keeping valuable resources in use for longer.
