Breathable UV Specialist Daily Fluid Light SPF50+ 40ml

I am a 34 year old with normal-dry skin and my specific skin concern is melasma for which I am always trying new spfs and trying to find 'the one' for everyday ease of use and max protection. A tinted spf with iron oxides to protect against blue light, which is the biggest uv trigger for melasma, is the gold standard for my budget I hadn't yet come across any that wouldn't be too dark or too yellow/orange for my fair very neutral skin. I noticed this new addition straight away because I LOVE the og invisible fluid! I try many different suncreens as I said but the untinted one textually is so light and comfortable and makes skin brighter with use but sadly for bright direct sun and if you're sitting in front of a window the UVA protection is just not enough if you are aiming to shield for hyperpigmentation issues such as melasma. While this is still largely true for this new tinted version, it offers a one and done step (finally!) For lazy days and overcast indoor days and top ups so I don't have to always have the hassle of applying mineral powder foundation ontop of layers of spf. I just can't believe how well the tint matches my skin, so pleased. There was a learning curve to application because the product dries so quickly, it is really best to work in sections of the face and to swipe it on in one pass with minimal blending, dont worry it dries down looking great even if it looked streaky in the first place. Don't skip on application because again, once it dries, it looks very natural. Always use two finger lengths for the full spf 50! This product would be perfect if it didn't have that strong Nivea sun perfume, but at least it doesn't sensitise my skin. Also with reapplication this might get a bit drying for dry skin, so bare that in mind... make sure you hydrate well underneath. One more thing I will add is that for the price I love how certain premium filters and antioxidants have been added to it that are found in more premium skincare lines from the parent company, super good value. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend!

It feels a bit chalky on my skin so I’m not sure I would buy it again. It may suit more ily skin types as I find it a bit difficult to spread. Leaves a bit of a chalky residue so I definitely need to wear foundation over it.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews on this product. It’s spf so it’s going to have a slightly different texture from normal moisturiser. I personally have found it great, and had lots of compliments on my skin when I wear it. It does need a good shake before us and you need to apply generously but I would really recommend this. I have oily skin and large pores and have found this to work as well as more expensive brands at creating an everyday base.
