They've changed the formula and now it is awful! The old formula was my favourite hand cream, and absorbed so well. This new formula is sticky and greasy and it doesnt absorb well at all. Not sure why they've changed the formula. Will have to look at other brands now, just wish they never changed it
I used the old formula for ages and it was always my favourite hand cream. This is rubbish, why did you ruined a perfect cream 😭 I can't use nivea anymore. It leaves a sticky greasy film on my hands, but underneath my skin so dry it hurts. I'm very annoyed by this actually, because now I have to look for a new favourite hand cream 😩 and also because I just had to throw away four tubes of this thing, tgat I accidentally ordered online, thinking I'm ordering the old one. Thanks for ruining my day Nivea.
I had been a die-hard user of Nivea intensive hand cream for 10 years. I work with animals, so I am outside year round, constantly using strong disinfectants, and washing my hands frequently - I get through a bottle of hand cream approximately every two weeks. I loved Nivea for being a super hydrating, good value, rich, thick, hand cream. It prevented my hands from cracking, even with the pretty rough treatment my hands get, kept them soft and supple, and was absorbed quickly so I could use it super speedily between animals at work. I’ve just stocked up (by delivery unfortunately, otherwise I would have just got one bottle to test after noticing the new bottle and formula). Having given it a few days trial, I’m so frustrated I want to cry! I can’t understand why they’ve made the change, this hand lotion seemed to be popular and was always snapped up when it’s on offer, so it must have been selling okay. The new formula is greasy, thinner, not absorbed well, and heavily scented. As an autistic person who struggles with sensory processing, I can’t stand the greasy, sticky, scented film it leaves, and even worse, after putting myself through the horrible sensation of using it, my hands still feel dry!! It’s both less effective and less pleasant to use, not exactly a winning combination… I’ll be going round the local shops to hunt out any remaining old bottles, then I’ll have to start the search for a new hand cream 😫 Nivea, if you have any shred of compassion for a skint, autistic, vet hospital worker, please return to the old formula!! 🙏🏻😭
