NIVEA Intensive Moisture Hand Cream

I had been a die-hard user of Nivea intensive hand cream for 10 years. I work with animals, so I am outside year round, constantly using strong disinfectants, and washing my hands frequently - I get through a bottle of hand cream approximately every two weeks. I loved Nivea for being a super hydrating, good value, rich, thick, hand cream. It prevented my hands from cracking, even with the pretty rough treatment my hands get, kept them soft and supple, and was absorbed quickly so I could use it super speedily between animals at work. I’ve just stocked up (by delivery unfortunately, otherwise I would have just got one bottle to test after noticing the new bottle and formula). Having given it a few days trial, I’m so frustrated I want to cry! I can’t understand why they’ve made the change, this hand lotion seemed to be popular and was always snapped up when it’s on offer, so it must have been selling okay. The new formula is greasy, thinner, not absorbed well, and heavily scented. As an autistic person who struggles with sensory processing, I can’t stand the greasy, sticky, scented film it leaves, and even worse, after putting myself through the horrible sensation of using it, my hands still feel dry!! It’s both less effective and less pleasant to use, not exactly a winning combination… I’ll be going round the local shops to hunt out any remaining old bottles, then I’ll have to start the search for a new hand cream 😫 Nivea, if you have any shred of compassion for a skint, autistic, vet hospital worker, please return to the old formula!! 🙏🏻😭

NIVEA Hand Cream Intensive Nourishing Moisturiser 100ml is very moisturizing and leaves my hands feeling soft and smooth for hours. It absorbs well without feeling too greasy, and the scent is pleasant too. Great for dry hands, especially in cold weather.

This used to be my favourite hand cream. I just purchased 6 of them online. I noticed that they are advertising a new formula on the bottle. It's now thick and sticky, even after 20 minutes. The smell has changed completely and it is making my hands sting. It's so hard to find a hand cream that is suitable for me due to sensitive skin. I'm so disappointed that they have changed what used to be a perfect formula for me.
