New formula burns skin
I have been using the plain white tubs of Nivea soft cream for years as it was the only affordable cream that was gentle enough to not upset my skin barrier. I went to London and thought I'll pick up a Nivea soft cream as my last tub had run out. I could only buy the new tub which has the green mark on it indicating it's a new formula, apparently the plain white tubs were not being sold any more. I opened it and noticed the smell was not the same as the previous version, it smelt like a stronger perfumed scent. I had nothing else so used a small amount at night. My skin felt instantly cold, then tingly, then I felt burning and upon looking in the mirror my face looked burning red and I could feel my skin barrier was irritated. The skin was not looking or feeling moisturized like before. I had used nothing else on my skin at that time. So now I can't use Nivea soft cream until they change the formula back. I don't want a 'vegan' skin cream. I want the cream I have been using to stay the same. I have been told by people that in other European countries only the new green marked tub is available and others are suffering the same burning effect as me from it.
